Last July, before the new school year started, the XSProject Learning Center was filled with bright smiles and excitement. The children didn’t come for lessons—they came to receive new school supplies. Each child went home with a bag, notebooks, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, and a new pair of shoes. For those just starting elementary, junior high, or vocational high school, uniforms were also provided to help them begin the school year with confidence.

For many, it was their very first school bag. Some hugged it tightly, some proudly showed it off to friends, while others slipped on their new shoes right away to share the joy with their parents.
“Most of these children come from families who struggle—parents who work as scavengers, single mothers, or families who cannot afford school needs. They are our priority,” shared Nurlela, one of the mentors at XSProject.

The parents, too, feel the impact of this support. Suprianto, father of Muhammad Febrianto, shared:
“I am so grateful to XSProject. My child has been supported since kindergarten and now continues to receive help in elementary school. I’m also thankful that the child of my late brother has been with XSProject too—supported all the way from elementary school until university. Thank you, XSProject, and thank you to all the donors. Because of your support, our children can stay in school and keep chasing their dreams.”

For the XSProject team, this moment is a reminder that education cannot wait. Simple tools—a book, a pencil, a bag, a pair of shoes—can become the gateway to bigger dreams.

We are deeply grateful to our donors and everyone who has shared in this hope. Every child has the right to learn, without exception. And every school supply given is more than just an item—it is a step toward opening their future.
