Many of the children come from environments with higher health risks, both due to their living conditions and diets that are not always nutritionally balanced. Therefore, simple interventions such as distributing vitamins and deworming medication are very important in maintaining their physical health so that they can remain active and focused on their education.
XSProject Foundation believes that children have the right to access proper education and healthcare. With healthy bodies, their enthusiasm for learning will increase. The distribution of vitamins and deworming medication is just one of many small steps that we hope will have a big impact on the growth and development of the children we support.
Leli Salviana – One of the student group participants explained, “This is a routine activity that is always held by XSProject. The purpose of distributing vitamins and deworming medicine is so that the students at XSProject do not have intestinal worms, their bodies remain fit and healthy, and they are enthusiastic about school.”
This activity was carried out at the XSProject Learning House, with the distribution of vitamins and deworming medication appropriate for the age and condition of each recipient. Before distribution, students were given a brief education on the importance of maintaining health, the benefits of vitamins, and why the body needs to be cleansed of worm infections on a regular basis. This assistance was carried out in a friendly manner so that the children felt comfortable and understood the benefits.
With the help and support of these donors, XSProject is able to continue protecting children’s futures through a holistic approach: education, health, and family empowerment.
