Every year, Indonesia celebrates Independence Day on August 17. This year, the XSProject Foundation again celebrated the special day with the children under our care. The children, from elementary school (SD) to vocational high school (SMK), came together to enjoy a day of fun, games, and friendship.
There were many different games and competitions. The children were very excited to take part. They laughed, cheered, and enjoyed playing with their friends. The competitions were not only about winning. The children also learned about teamwork, sportsmanship, and helping each other. Older and younger children had the chance to play together and build closer friendships.
For us, this celebration was more than just a fun day. It was also a chance to teach the children about the spirit of independence. We hope they will grow to be confident, caring, hardworking, and respectful of others. At the end of the activities, all the children received small gifts. They were very happy and excited to receive them. The gifts also gave them a special memory of celebrating Independence Day together.
We are very grateful to everyone who helped make this celebration possible. We also thank our donors for their continued support of the children and our programs. We hope that the spirit of independence will continue to grow in every child. May they continue to learn, dream, and work toward a better future.
